Belarusian Goods: MART Introduces a Standard for Trade Assortment

tania August 24, 2026 15:25 The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has decided to temporarily introduce a standard regarding the availability of Belarusian goods in the trade assortment. This was reported by the MART press service. First and foremost, according to the Doctrine of National Food Security of Belarus until 2030, 80-85% of domestic production is the optimistic level of the state's food security. Thus, in accordance with the trade development plan, the share of Belarusian goods based on the results of 2026 should amount to 58%.

Belarusian Goods: Current Indicators and Standard

Based on the results of the first half of 2026, the share increased by 0.1 percentage points and amounted to 54.6%. Consequently, in this regard, MART signed Resolution No. 48 dated August 20, 2026. In addition, the document clarifies the approach to the availability of domestically produced goods.

At the same time, in accordance with the instruction of the President of Belarus, the issue of the share of Belarusian goods will be considered at the highest level based on the results of work for 2026.
