Belarusbank has launched "Tea-Code" — a new service for convenient cashless tipping

Aksana Kutsarskaya September 5, 2026 9:24 The bank has launched a new online service called "Tea-Code" that allows users to leave and receive cashless tips via QR code. The innovation is designed to make the process of showing appreciation for quality service convenient and modern.

The service stands out for its ease of use: the recipient simply needs to generate a personal QR code once, which can then be saved and used repeatedly, while the visitor only needs to scan it with their smartphone. In addition, "Tea-Code" is beneficial for both parties: no commission is charged to either the sender or the recipient of funds. To start accepting cashless tips, the recipient needs to have a virtual current account and be an online banking user.

The QR code generation process takes just a few minutes:

Log in to online banking.

Follow the path: "Payments" — "Services" — "Tea-Code."

Generate your personal QR code, save it, and show it to the payer.

The tip sender scans the provided QR code and enters the desired amount. The minimum amount for a single transfer is 3 Belarusian rubles, and the maximum is 100 Belarusian rubles.

Detailed information about the "Tea-Code" service, as well as the full Rules for its provision, can be found here.
