Banks in Belarus have revised the terms of car loans and mortgages. We will tell you what has changed.
Note that several financial and credit institutions have introduced these innovations.
In the car loan segment, Belgazprombank has reduced rates on Belgee and Geely, Belinvestbank has expanded the list of Geely models, adding Monjaro, and Belagroprombank has increased the number of privileged borrowers for Belgee.

Car loans: rates down, list of models wider
Belgazprombank: privileged 0.99% on Belgee and Geely
From September 16, Belgazprombank has reduced rates on "AutoBelgee" and "AutoTOP" loans. If you choose a one-year grace period, the rate will be 0.99% per annum, for two years - 1.99%, for three years - 2.99%. After the end of the privileged period, the interest rate will be 16.5% per annum - this is the refinancing rate of the National Bank plus 7.25 percentage points.
Belinvestbank: Monjaro now available
Belinvestbank has expanded the list of Geely models for which a loan can be obtained. The Geely Monjaro crossover has been added to the list. The rate during the privileged period is from 1.4% per annum (up to 12 months) or from 3.3% (up to 24 months). After the privileged period, the rate is 16.9% per annum. The maximum loan amount is up to 90% of the car's value, and the term is up to ten years.
Belagroprombank: more privileged borrowers for Belgee
Belagroprombank has expanded the list of privileged borrowers who can take out a loan to purchase new Belgee cars. Now, a loan on special terms is available not only to families with disabled children but also to large families. The privileged period has also changed: instead of three years with a rate of 3.5% per annum, a two-year period with a rate of 0.01% per annum has been established. Then the rate will be 16.5% per annum (previously - 14.75%).
The conditions for the partner program for car loans for new Geely brand electric vehicles have also been updated. The Geely Monjaro has been included in the list of models available under the partner program. The car can be purchased at different rates: 3.99% per annum for the first two years, and 17% per annum from the third year. Previously, the rate was 8.9% in the first year and 14.9% thereafter.
Mortgage: terms are increasing, rates are decreasing
Belgazprombank: minus 0.6 percentage points
BelGazprombank lowered the rates on its housing loans “Soon to Move In” and “Building Together.” For newly signed credit agreements, the interest rate after the end of the grace period drops by 0.6 percentage points—from 14.9% to 14.3% per annum.
Bank BelVEB: up to 25 years and no commission
Bank BelVEB increased the maximum term for obtaining real‑estate loans—from 20 to 25 years. Earlier, on September 7, the institution abolished the fee for processing a guarantee agreement.
MTBank: “Mortgage Mix” has become cheaper
MTBank’s base rate for the “Mortgage Mix” loan fell to 14.921% per annum (down 0.559 percentage points).
