Development of the food industry in the Grodno region was discussed.

Chairman of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee Yuri Karayev held a meeting with the management of the concern Belgospishcheprom — together with its head Oleg Zhidkov, they discussed current issues of industry development. The focus was on the work of enterprises such as the Skidel Sugar Refinery, Grodno Distillery, Lidapishchekontsentraty, Belkofe, and the Grodno Tobacco Factory Neman. Heads of these organizations joined the dialogue.

Key topics included meeting both volume targets for production and sales, and qualitative indicators of financial and economic activity.

Meeting participants emphasized that today enterprises have every opportunity to develop production, introduce new technologies, and increase volumes.
