With the drop in air temperature, Belarusians traditionally start active preparation for the heating season, which naturally leads to an increase in demand for firewood. To make the process of preparing fuel more convenient, from October 1 a web service for ordering timber has started operating in the country.

In the Ministry of Forestry, they emphasize that the innovation primarily saves time. Now citizens do not need to personally visit forestry offices or spend time on phone calls: an application can be submitted remotely, in just a few clicks.

Consumers have appreciated this simple way of replenishing winter supplies. Since the launch of the web service for ordering firewood, more than eighty electronic applications have been received by the Lida Forestry alone.
