State Control Committee (SCC) of the Gomel Region identified serious violations in the operation of a meat processing workshop. This was reported by BELTA in the press service of the SCC.
In the workshop, more than 600 kg of meat semi-finished products and sausage items were found, lacking documentation and the required labeling that would allow determining the production date, shelf life, and other mandatory information. As noted by the SCC, this meat product is prohibited from sale.
Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the violators. The SCC noted that the fine could amount to up to 500 base units.
