The development of the agro-industrial complex of the Yelsk district was the topic of a recent meeting chaired by Governor Ivan Krupko. And this issue is directly relevant to Mozyrshchina. Some of the Yelsk agricultural enterprises operate under the official patronage of Mozyr residents.

One of the key issues of the meeting chaired by Governor Ivan Krupko was the modernization of the conservation workshop of the Krinichnaya experimental base in Yelsk region.

At present, the facility operates on a seasonal basis. It is planned that after the upgrade, the workshop will switch to year-round operations and its product range will be expanded. The modernization envisages the renovation of existing buildings as well as the construction of new ones using prefabricated construction technology. A shock-freezing workshop, a vegetable storage facility, and a sorting, washing, and packaging workshop for finished products will be built. The acquisition of new equipment is also planned.

Pre-design documentation has been developed. New jobs will be created at the enterprise, and turnover as well as output volumes will increase. The Krinichnaya experimental base plans to obtain vegetables for processing at its Yelsk workshop from its own production facility. As for freezing, the issue of producing potatoes, carrots, and peas has been worked out, and other options are also being explored, including the creation of mixed blends and salads. Ivan Krupko, Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, stressed that it is necessary to produce competitive products that are in demand on the market: "The enterprise's task is to develop a finished, cost-effective product that the consumer needs."
