By the decree of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food dated October 13, 2026, the maximum wholesale prices for fresh cucumbers (long-fruited, medium-fruited) and tomatoes (red, except cherry-type and tomato trusses) sold by producers to legal entities for the purpose of fulfilling a state order, or supplied to purchasers as fulfillment of a state order, have been established. The validity period of the wholesale prices is set by the decree for the off-season period. The document was adopted to ensure supplies to the domestic market of domestically produced products at acceptable prices.

Thus, depending on the delivery conditions, the maximum wholesale price will be 6.1–6.4 rubles per kilogram for cucumbers and 6.9–7.24 rubles per kilogram for tomatoes.

The price restriction applies only during the off-season period of 2026/2027, which for cucumbers runs from November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027, and for tomatoes from November 1, 2026 to April 30, 2027.
