Which regions of Belarus have been leading in firewood orders since the launch of the special web service, BELTA reported to the Ministry of Forestry.

The ministry has taken into account applications submitted both online and offline. In the Brest region, the leader in the number of public applications is the Stolinsky Forest Enterprise — 319 people placed orders for 2,947 cubic meters of firewood.

In the Vitebsk region, the most firewood was ordered at the Polotsk Forest Enterprise — 475 applications for 2,873 cubic meters.

According to specialists, the Petrykivsky Forest Enterprise leads in the Gomel region with 569 applications for 4,788 cubic meters.

The highest number of firewood applications in the Minsk region came to the Borisov Experimental Forest Enterprise — 586 for 4,932 cubic meters. As the press service noted, this enterprise leads overall in the country.

In the Mogilev region, people most often turn to the Goretzky Forest Enterprise for firewood. There, 375 applications were registered for 2,757 cubic meters.

The online firewood ordering service was launched on October 1. Applications are submitted via a Telegram bot or on the RUP “Belgosles” website. Firewood can still be purchased in the usual way by visiting a forest office.
