What will Grodno of the future look like? In 2027, the city's General Plan will be adjusted.

The adjustment of the Grodno General Plan project is included in the state order for 2027.

The Belarusian government approved a list of 13 urban development projects, for which development contracts will be placed in 2027. This list includes the adjustment of Grodno's General Plan.

As explained by Denis Konon, head of the Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning Department of the city executive committee, the large-scale work will begin already next year.

The focus will be on changing functional zoning, renovating inefficiently used territories, and smart infill within the city limits.
