Prime Minister Alexander Turčin signed the decree "On Passenger Transportation", which launches the creation of a unified state information system for selling bus tickets and empowers the Ministry of Transport to simplify formalities in international air transportation.

This was announced by the government press service.

According to the decree, the unified state information system (GIS) will be intended for seat reservation, sale of travel documents and baggage receipt

This will create conditions for improving the quality of services provided by air transport and reducing restrictions on the implementation of international flights by Belarusian airlines.

Thus, the signed decree sets two key directions for the development of the transport sector: digitization of regular road transport through a unified ticket sales system and simplification of procedures on international air routes.
