Wildberries has introduced a new feature called 'Outfit Ideas'. Using artificial intelligence, shoppers can see what to pair with a liked item and immediately select matching clothing, footwear, and accessories.

As reported by MP, Wildberries press secretary in Belarus Ksenia Kunitskaya, the new feature is available directly on the product card. Now users can evaluate not only an individual item but also see it as part of several ready-made outfits.

The AI will suggest up to 10 outfit options.

The feature helps solve one of the common problems of online shopping — figuring out what to wear with a liked item and whether it will match the existing wardrobe.

To use 'Outfit Ideas', open the product card in the Wildberries mobile app and tap the corresponding button on the main image.

Then the system selects suitable combinations with other items from the marketplace assortment. Clothing, footwear, and accessories are taken into account. As a result, the shopper is offered up to 10 ready-made styling options.

Liked items can be selected and added to the cart immediately.

The neural network will update the options.

The algorithm constantly updates assortment information to account for new arrivals. At the same time, the system strives not to offer shoppers the same combinations, but to create different outfit variations around the selected item.

This allows the user to see several ways to style a single item and assess how well it fits into a particular look.

'Outfit Ideas' are already available to users of the Wildberries mobile app. In the near future, the feature is planned to be launched also in the web version of the marketplace.
