As noted by Mikhail Vasilyevich Vlasenko, head of banking services center No. 712 of JSC ASB Belarusbank in Kostyukovichi, changes to the operation of the M-Belarusbank mobile application will take effect on October 1, 2026. At the same time, the bank emphasizes that customers can take advantage of a number of alternative solutions, thanks to which the updates will not affect the quality of service.

Changes in the provision of service packages

From that date, the M-Belarusbank application will stop providing the “Full” and “Basic” service packages free of charge for card products: Club “Persona”, Club “Lady”, Men’s Club, Easy Card (including for students and pupils), #mozhnovse, Club “Zebra”, Shchodraya, Lime.

At the same time, the bank draws attention to the fact that in the Belarusbank online bank, a completely free push-notification service for completed transactions is already available for the listed products. Customers are invited to familiarize themselves with the list of cards for which various types of notifications are provided.

Available types of push notifications:

• Push notifications for credit and debit transactions — for cards: “Lady”, “Persona”, “Zebra”, “Men’s Club”, “Easy Card”, #mozhnovse, “Shchodraya” and Lime.
• Push notifications for debit transactions only — for cards: “Carte Blanche”, #nastart, “Velvet”, “Svoi”, “Student Card”, Student.

Procedure for enabling push notifications

Push notifications are enabled by the customer independently in the Belarusbank online bank. To do this, you must:

1. In the “Products” section, open the “Cards” tab and select the desired card.
2. On the card page, click the settings icon in the upper right corner and go to the “Card Management” section. Select “Notifications”, click “Connect”, then select the PUSH type and confirm the action.
3. After receiving confirmation, push notifications are activated automatically.

The “Velvet” card: notifications remain

The bank separately emphasizes that holders of the “Velvet” card should not worry: notifications about transactions on their cards are retained and do not become paid. As before, customers will receive SMS notifications about credit and debit transactions free of charge. If desired, they can additionally enable free push notifications about debit transactions in the Belarusbank online bank.

Using other people’s cards in the application

From October 1, 2026, it will no longer be possible to add cards belonging to other people, including close relatives, in the M-Belarusbank application.

If cards belonging to other people have already been added in the app, they must be removed: “Cards” → select the card → “Settings” → “Delete card”.

If after October 1 cards of different owners remain in the app, previously paid packages will continue to be valid until the end of their term, but their further activation will be restricted.

How to keep the ability to help loved ones

For continued convenient transactions on relatives’ accounts, the bank suggests issuing an additional card to their account, but in your name. To do this, the account holder must visit a bank branch with their passport and your passport details. The finished card can be picked up by either the account holder or the person in whose name it is issued.

Family relationship is not a mandatory condition for issuing an additional card, except in cases of issuing cards in the name of minors.

In summary, the bank said that both services — the M‑Belarusbank mobile app and the Belarusbank online bank — will continue to operate as usual.
