Prime Minister Alexander Turčin signed the decree "On Passenger Transportation", the government press service reported.

The Council of Ministers approved the regulation on the functioning of the Unified State Information System for the Sale of Travel Documents for Passenger Road Transport in Regular Service (GIS).

According to Decree No. 108, the GIS must be created by July 1, 2027. The decree establishes the procedure for its operation in order to create conditions for fair competition, improve the quality of services provided, and further improve relations in the field of passenger transportation through its digitization.

Furthermore, according to the decree, the Ministry of Transport is authorized to adopt the National Program for Simplifying Formalities in International Air Transport. Adoption of the national program will contribute to the simplification and unification of procedures regulating passenger, baggage, and flight crew control. This will create conditions for improving the quality of services provided by air transport and reducing restrictions on the performance of international flights by Belarusian airlines.
