The Borisov district is confidently moving forward in the development of its healthcare system – ambitious plans and substantial investments are opening new horizons for medicine. The most important link in these transformations will be the reconstruction of the infectious disease hospital, which has been included in the State Program “Health of the Nation” for 2026–2030 and is part of the Minsk Region’s investment program.
The familiar building will be given a new life: after reconstruction it will become a modern multidisciplinary medical complex. According to the chief physician of the Borisov Central Clinical Hospital, Alexander Drozd, the renovated hospital will house an outpatient department, intensive care unit, diagnostic service, and polyclinic, as well as pediatric and adult wards, a functional diagnostics service, and specialist offices. Patients from the first polyclinic will be referred here – this will allow streamlining flows and increasing the accessibility of medical care. The infectious block will have a capacity of 60 beds. A significant advantage of the upgraded complex will be the outfitting of treatment rooms with modern high‑technology equipment.
The project will provide for a comprehensive transformation of the facility.
In addition to the extensive reconstruction of the building, the site will see the construction of new standalone facilities – an oxygen distribution and oxygenation station, as well as a control and access point. This is an important part of the infrastructure that will ensure the hospital operates continuously and safely.
