The President of Belarus gave consent to submit to the House of Representatives of the National Assembly a budget-tax package of documents for 2027: draft laws "On the Republican Budget for 2027," "On Amendments to the Tax Code of the Republic of Belarus," and "On the Budget of the State Extra-Budgetary Social Protection Fund of the Republic of Belarus for 2027."

The minister described the draft republican budget for 2027 as clear, familiar, and manageable. It was prepared simultaneously with the draft amendments to the Tax Code, the main indicators of socio-economic development, and monetary and credit policy.

"Budget parameters are formed based on the target scenario of economic development for the next year. The growth rates and performance of our enterprises, and the economy as a whole, provide the tax potential that we can have as part of revenues. Main taxes are linked to the results of financial and economic activity. Value-added tax and profit tax account for practically 50% of all republican budget revenues," explained Vladislav Tatarynovich.

He also noted that, in addition to the GDP growth forecast, the inflation indicator was also taken into account mandatorily. "Our basic measure of tax policy is to index tax rates and separate elements of taxation that are set in fixed amounts in Belarusian rubles," added Vladislav Tatarynovich.
