We are talking with the chief agronomist of LLC Druzhba-Agroproizvodstvo in Kobrin district to the rumble of a combine harvester. While a powerful Gomselmash is harvesting millet in the field, Anatoly Dobrinets talks about the current harvest and plans for the future crop.

Three times Anatoly Dobrinets was recognized as the best in Kobrin district, and the chief agronomist was also noted at the regional level. This year was no exception. Such impressive success is a well-deserved result for a professional who loves his work and has devoted 43 years to it.

Anatoly Nikolaevich was born in the village of Lyadets in the Stolin area. The school graduate had no doubts about choosing a future profession: he saw himself only in agriculture, following the example of his parents. He studied to become an agronomist at the Lyakhovichi state farm technical school and, with a diploma with honors, came by assignment to Kobrin district. He worked as a team leader and agronomist at the Pravda collective farm, then "grew" to chief agronomist at the already reorganized and renamed agricultural enterprise. Without interrupting his work, he graduated from the Grodno Agricultural Institute; by the way, he defended his thesis on flax cultivation with honors.

Anatoly Dobrinets recalls that his parents instilled in him a love for the land. Since childhood, he has known the value of bread and the great labor it takes to produce it, so he always approaches each sowing or harvesting season with a special feeling. Anatoly Nikolaevich passed on the same respectful attitude toward the work of a grain farmer to his two sons and daughter, and his wife Maria Stepanovna understands her husband's demanding work schedule.

He says about his work: it is hard and responsible, but the result is worth it. When the harvest pleases, the early rises and late returns home, sometimes without days off or holidays, are forgotten. "Everything must be done on time: cultivate the land properly, sow the crops, care for the plantings – follow all technological processes. Then you can count on a result. But I don't do all this alone; it's a whole team – machine operators, field workers..." the interlocutor lists and adds: "Better write less about me, but be sure to name Alexander Pashchenko, Mikhail Vorona, Andrei Davidyuk, Vladimir Moshko, Vitaly Ptushko, Nikolai Nivodnichik, Viktor Gorudko, Alexander Dorosh, Dmitry Frankov. Thank you to our machine operators for their work. I know I can rely on them and everything will be done conscientiously."
