An open competitive selection of innovative projects (works, events) will be held for financing from the funds of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee's Innovation Fund in 2027.

The selection and departmental scientific and technical examination of projects (works, events) are carried out on the basis of the Instruction approved by the decision of the Regional Council of Deputies dated March 24, 2017 No. 188. The conduct of the open competitive selection and departmental scientific and technical examination of projects (works, events) is performed by the Coordination Scientific and Technical Council of the Regional Executive Committee.

The acceptance of documents has already begun; they are being accepted by the Economics Committee of the Regional Executive Committee until October 20, 2026.

Various municipal organizations, as well as scientific, design, and engineering organizations of Belarus, regardless of their subordination, may participate in the competition. The funds of the Innovation Fund are used for the implementation of innovative projects; the performance of scientific-research, experimental-design, and experimental-technological works; the organization of activities and the development of the material and technical base of entities of the innovation infrastructure and industry laboratories.
