The first Belarus‑China tourism forum “Partnership and Travel Without Borders,” which brought together representatives of government bodies, the tourism industry, and business circles from both countries, was held in Brest. The event’s main partner was VTB Bank (Belarus).

The forum’s business program included thematic discussions, presentations of the tourism potential of Belarus and China, and negotiations between representatives of travel companies, the hotel industry, and relevant organizations. Participants discussed developing joint itineraries, transport logistics, hotel infrastructure, the implementation of digital solutions, and the creation of new tourism products. Special attention was given to the opportunities in the Brest region.

“The development of international tourism is not only about new routes and experiences, but also about new business connections, investments, and opportunities for entrepreneurs. Belarus and China have significant potential for expanding cooperation, and such platforms help turn shared interests into concrete projects. For us, it is important to be part of this process, to support initiatives that bring people together, open new prospects for business, and contribute to economic development,” says Ivan Verenich, deputy chairman of the board of VTB (Belarus).

VTB (Belarus)’s deep expertise and established channels for working with the key Asian market help Belarusian businesses explore new directions. Additional information about international money transfers for businesses can be obtained by calling 7609 or by contacting a personal VTB (Belarus) manager.
