Over the three summer months, VTB (Belarus) employees held dozens of financial literacy meetings in various regions of the country. More than a thousand people participated.

The marathon of meetings covered Minsk, Pinsk, Svetlogorsk, Mozyr, Vitebsk, Orsha, Grodno, Lida, Novopolotsk, Bobruysk, and other localities. The meetings took place at enterprises, educational institutions, healthcare and social sector organizations, as well as trade and service organizations.

One of the key topics was financial security. VTB (Belarus) experts spoke about current fraud schemes, ways to counter social engineering, and rules for protecting personal and banking data.

"Over the summer period, about 1,200 people participated in our events. Practice shows that people particularly need information about new fraud schemes and ways to protect their funds. Therefore, at enterprises, in educational, medical, and social institutions, we strive to talk not only about the bank’s new products and services, but also about the basics of financial security," said Olga Zhora, Head of Sales and Customer Relations Development at VTB (Belarus).

VTB (Belarus) will continue the financial literacy marathon in the country’s regions.
