The State Control Committee of the Mogilev region is conducting a monitoring of the progress of harvest and autumn field work in the region's agricultural organizations.

Its results show that state authorities and agricultural organizations have taken measures to conduct field work in a timely and high-quality manner. In the region, almost a million tonnes of cereals and grain legumes have already been harvested, with a yield of about 30 c/ha. The volume of harvested forage has increased – compared with 2025, by 2.9 feed units per head of livestock.

However, the Committee identified a number of shortcomings and omissions in this area. For instance, in half of the inspected farms, equipment repair—including warranty tractors—was carried out at insufficient pace; in every seventh farm, sowing equipment was not fully prepared for operation. In every fifth farm, soil preparation before sowing was of poor quality, and in more than a third, the application of mineral fertilizers fell below the required doses.

For example, at the JSC “Zabolotye‑Agrostandard” in Mstsislaw district, the sowing of winter rapeseed was carried out on poorly prepared soil; additional processing of furrow strips was required, and on the Beresina‑9600 planter, separate furrow rollers had to be installed.

Similar deficiencies were identified in the farms of Dribinsky, Gluski, Osipovichsky, Khotimsky and other districts.

Based on the Committee's recommendations, local authorities and agricultural organizations have taken appropriate measures to eliminate the identified shortcomings.
