For equipment inspection, the ammonia-3 unit will be shut down, along with the carbamide-3 unit, which is interconnected with it by feedstock. During the shutdown and subsequent start-up operations at the ammonia-3 unit, in order to dispose of flammable substances contained in the process gas, the regulations provide for its flaring at the flare unit.

These operations may last for several days; upon their completion, the flaring of process gas at the flare unit will cease.

There is no threat to the city, the environment, residents, or the enterprise's employees.
