
Around 170 passenger cars are located before the Polish border crossings 'Kuznica Białostocka'.
Since Friday, the number of trucks waiting to enter Polish territory has increased 2.7 times, reports the State Border Committee.
As of 10:00, 590 freight vehicles have accumulated before the checkpoints. Moreover, over the past two days, staff at the border crossings 'Kukuryki' ('Kozłowicze') and 'Bobrowniki' ('Berezowica') fulfilled the norm for processing large trucks at 42% and 17%, respectively.
A difficult situation is also observed with passenger transport. On the Lithuanian direction, before the checkpoint 'Šalčininkai' ('Beniakoni'), 20 passenger cars are waiting for entry, and local services have accepted 39% of the norm of vehicles. Additionally, around 170 passenger cars are located before the Polish border crossings 'Kuznica Białostocka' ('Bruzgi') and 'Terespol' ('Brest'), where control services have allowed 28% of vehicles onto their territory.
