Question: I am flying from Egypt, how much tobacco (cigarettes) can I bring in without violating the laws of the Republic of Belarus?
Answer: Individuals may bring into the Republic of Belarus duty‑free no more than 200 cigarettes, or 50 cigars (cigarillos), or 200 sticks (heated tobacco products), or 250 grams of tobacco.
It is allowed to import assorted products, but their total weight must not exceed 250 grams.
It should be noted that tobacco products may be imported only by persons who have reached the age of 18.
In case the duty‑free import limits are exceeded, the goods will no longer be considered for personal use. For the excess portion, customs declaration must be made by submitting a goods declaration with payment of customs duties.
