On November 2, a service student squad named after V.Z. Horuzhey "Correspondent" started working at the "Bobruysk Media" news agency. The squad consists of 11 students from schools and colleges in the city - young people who want to try their hand at journalism and media production. Students from the "oSminog" school of bloggers have also joined the squad's work. These young and initiative individuals are already familiar with the media holding's work and are making their contribution to modern journalism in Bobruysk.

Over the course of two weeks, the young correspondents will be immersed in the real editorial process. They will have to photograph events and prepare photo reports, write notes, news, and interviews, participate in creating radio programs, shoot and edit reels for social networks, as well as create full-fledged television stories - from idea and script to filming and editing.

The work is based on a real editorial office: planning meetings, creative tasks, discussion of materials with mentors, and preparation of finished products for "Bobruysk Media" platforms. For schoolchildren and college students, this is an opportunity not only to acquire practical skills but also to see how media content is created.

The main goal of the project is to help the young people reveal their creative potential, learn to work in a team, and try their hand at different media professions: journalist, photographer, radio host, operator, video engineer, and social media author.

During the tour, the young people got acquainted with the work of a radio host, a TV program producer, a video engineer, and also tried their hand at sound recording and learned how studio filming is organized. Today was our first working day, we got acquainted with the team of the "Bobruysk 360" TV channel and "Zefir FM" radio. It was interesting to communicate with older colleagues and get a feel for the versatile work of a journalist. I really like it here because it's a small step towards my big goal of becoming a correspondent in the future, said participant Polina Amborgan. Our student squad is called "Correspondent" named after the Hero of the Soviet Union V.Z. Horuzhey. Today we started working on gathering information, before that, we were given a introductory tour of all the offices of the TV channel. I was not familiar with journalism before, but after the first day, I am sure that the time in the student squad will be exciting and productive, said participant Ksenia Potapuyk.
