On September 24 in Belarus, pre-orders for two new devices will open: the Huawei MatePad Air tablet and the Huawei FreeBuds Neo wireless earbuds. The tablet stands out with its thin lightweight body, bright 12-inch OLED screen, and high performance. It comes in versions with PaperMatte anti-glare coating. The earbuds support adaptive noise cancellation and offer up to 40 hours of battery life. Pre-sales of both innovations begin in October.

Huawei MatePad Air: Thin body, OLED screen, PC-level performance

The Huawei MatePad Air combines elegant design with flagship performance. The device weighs just 509 grams and measures 5.3 mm thick. To achieve an interesting color-shifting effect on the solid metal body depending on lighting and viewing angle, electroferroelectric coating is used, which is typically applied in aerospace and automotive industries.

The device features a 12-inch OLED screen with 2.8K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 1200 nits peak brightness. Versions with PaperMatte anti-glare technology guarantee comfortable content viewing and writing-like paper feel. Thanks to the high-precision nano-etching process, such a display reduces glare by 50% even under bright lighting. The usable screen area is 92% thanks to thin bezels.

High performance of the tablet is provided by the octa-core Kirin T93C chip working in tandem with 8 GB of RAM. Efficient multitasking and handling power-intensive applications are supported by innovative three-dimensional cooling system that lowers the temperature of the chassis during heavy loads.

Huawei MatePad Air provides laptop-level convenience through special applications and expanding accessories. The device can connect to a smart magnetic keyboard and M-Pencil Pro stylus. Users have access to the "Notebook" app for note-taking, GoPaint for drawing and animation creation, as well as the computer version of WPS Office, enabling work with documents, tables, and presentations.

The Huawei MatePad Air tablet will be available in two colors: sky blue and white. The version with the PaperMatte screen has a retail price of up to 2799 rubles, while the version with a glossy screen is up to 2599 rubles. All come with a magnetic keyboard included and are equipped with 8/256 GB of memory.

The Huawei FreeBuds Neo wireless earbuds are expected in four colors: shining silver, misty pink, frosty white, and cosmic black. Their retail price is up to 349 rubles.
