As Yuri Rusetsky said, the enterprise continues to improve the design characteristics of the products it produces. Currently specialists are working on a new topic for the plant — tires intended for electric vehicles.

We constantly improve design characteristics. Now we are working on a tire for electric vehicles. There are certain design characteristics that we must meet, noted the director of the plant.

It is planned that the new tires will be produced in diameters of 19 and 20 inches.

Serial production is planned to start by February 2027.

According to Yuri Rusetsky, usually the development and launch of a new tire into serial production takes about six months.

In principle, the optimal period for development and putting a tire into serial production is six months. And we set ourselves the task to master and put these tires into serial production by February 2027, he said.

At the same time, the plant director emphasized that this direction is new for the enterprise, and the final deadlines will depend on the work of the designers and the success of the development.
