The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) has prepared a draft amendment to the advertising law. It is intended to restrict the promotion of gambling establishments and gambling games, reports STV.

The initiative is being implemented by order of the head of state and aims to reduce the risks of developing gambling addiction, primarily among young people.

According to the draft, two key requirements will be imposed on gambling advertising. First, it must necessarily contain a warning notice about the absence of a guarantee of winning and the risk of financial losses. Second, it is planned to completely ban the placement of such advertising in outdoor advertising.

At the same time, the use of signs and the placement of advertising on the following is permitted:

• transport vehicles
• interiors of transport vehicles
• public transport stops
• bus stations
• railway stations
• multi-apartment residential buildings
• trade facilities
• catering facilities
• shopping centers
