This is an ideal environment for entering new markets and concluding exclusive contracts. Belarusian dairy products are supplied to 69 countries worldwide.
This was stated by Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Igor Dorofeychik at the opening of the XII International Forum "Belarus Dairy":
The dairy industry is a sustainable driver of economic growth. Belarus produces more than three times as much milk as it consumes. The country intends to further increase the production of raw materials for processing. By 2030, it is planned to increase the total milk yield to 10.5 million tons. The industry is preparing for such growth, modernizing production, and will be able to process all the milk. Agricultural producers are also upgrading milk production facilities. This year, 60 modern dairy farms are being built, 30 of which have already been put into operation.
