The United States has officially removed two Belarusian companies from the sanctions list. The corresponding notice has been published on the website of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

The main sanctions list of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the U.S. Department of the Treasury no longer includes OJSC Lakokraska and the Bellesbumprom concern.

The agreement on the cancellation of the relevant restrictions was announced earlier following the talks in Minsk between Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and representatives of the team of U.S. President Donald Trump, headed by the Special Envoy for Belarus John Cole.
