The American department posted a notification stating that the two Belarusian organizations are no longer listed in the main sanctions list of OFAC. This refers to JSC "Lakokraska" and the "Bellesbumprom" concern.
The consultations in Minsk became the background for this step. They were attended by Alexander Lukashenko and representatives of Donald Trump's team.
The Washington delegation was led by John Kool, special envoy to Belarus. Following the meeting, it was announced that an agreement had been reached to lift the restrictions.
Now Washington has officially confirmed this: the companies have been removed from the list, as evidenced by the document on the US Department of the Treasury's website. No other details are provided in the original message.
