Violations were identified by the Gomel Regional Committee for State Control during an inspection of price formation by a private bakery products manufacturer. The enterprise systematically raised prices on bakery products above the permissible index (0.3% per month) from October 2024 to June 2026 without coordination with the regional executive committee.

Over one and a half years, products were sold at inflated prices for a total amount exceeding 1 million rubles.

As a result of the inspection, prices for the products were brought into compliance with current legislation. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the entity and the responsible person.

For the implementation of regulated goods in violation of the established procedure for increasing wholesale prices, a fine is provided – up to 10% of the value of the sold products.
