The head of the agency, accompanied by the chairman of the district executive committee Gevorg Melkonyan, the chairman of the economics committee of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee Alexander Voropaev, and the deputy general director of MAZ OAO Gennady Tumilovich, met with the labor collective of OAO Osipovichsky Automobile Aggregate Plant.

The enterprise is a good example of progressive development: in 2025, the modernization of facilities was completed here, and now an integration project is being implemented to create a production of precise aluminum casting. Yuri Chebotar familiarized himself with the progress of work on this project, as well as a number of other aspects of the enterprise's activities.

Summing up the results of the visit to OZAA, the minister noted that the comfortable institutional environment created by the state is the basis for attracting investments, but the key condition for success is the high-quality development of the project.

To attract capital, a promising idea is not enough - a competent business plan is needed, in which the sources of raw materials, competencies, equipment, and sales markets are clearly linked, and realistic payback periods are defined. The state provides resources on favorable terms for carefully developed initiatives. In the Osipovichsky district, six projects are being implemented in 2026, but the region's potential allows for an increase in their number, said the head of the agency.

Yuri Chebotar also visited the perfume and cosmetic factory SONTSO. Here, thanks to the Regional Initiative, a new production of capsules for washing and dishwashing in dishwashers was launched. The implementation of a project to build an automatic system for forming group packaging and a robotic complex for palletizing has begun.

The minister emphasized that automation and robotization of technological operations in conjunction with the introduction of lean production tools are the most important reserves for increasing labor productivity and competitiveness.

We purposefully support such business ideas. Since the beginning of the year, a credit product Technological Self-Sufficiency has been in effect, and already 11 projects from the Mogilev region have become its participants, noted Yuri Chebotar.
