Mariam Tabagari and Yulia Davydenko. September 15, 2026. At the OJSC Institute “Mogilevgrazhdanproekt”, a regional practical seminar “Innovative Approaches in Construction” was held. It was attended by about thirty people who are in the managerial personnel reserve and the promising personnel reserve of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee in the fields of housing and communal services and construction. Also among the participants were deputy chairmen of district executive committees overseeing architecture, construction, and housing and communal services, individuals on the personnel reserve for these positions, graduating students of the Belarusian-Russian University, and students of the Architectural and Construction College within the Belarusian-Russian University.

The purpose of the seminar was to improve knowledge in the field of construction activity, managerial competencies, and ethical and business relations in the team.

The seminar was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Igor Klisho, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Architecture and Construction of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Ignatov, and General Director of the State Association “Housing and Communal Services of Mogilev Region” Tatyana Tikhanovskaya.

Igor Klisho, welcoming the participants of the practical seminar, emphasized the key topics of the meeting.

“Today we will talk about the current state and operating principles of the construction and housing and communal services complexes of the region, and discuss issues related not only to construction but also to the operation of facilities. Graduates of our educational institutions must understand: one specialist builds, another operates. To become a professional, it is necessary to know the regulatory factors, the principles of construction and operation of facilities,” he noted. “We will touch on cost issues — not the most popular topic, but necessary for effective management. We will talk about the application of modern technologies in construction — this is a relevant and important direction. In addition, we will pay attention to the psychology of ethical and business relations in the workforce. This will broaden your horizons and prepare you as future leaders.”

The seminar participants discussed the state and development prospects of the construction complex and housing and communal services of Mogilev Region, talked about international experience and the use of VST technology in construction, trends in the development of the housing and communal services sector, and urban improvement.

After the theoretical part, the seminar participants visited the production base of the branch "Production and Technological Equipment Directorate" of OJSC "Construction Trust No. 17 of the Order of the Red Banner of Labour".
