How the renewal of the fleet of public transport in Belarus is progressing was explained by the press service of the Ministry of Transport, BELTA reports.

Thus, between January and September, transport organizations purchased 632 units of equipment.

They acquired 480 buses, 15 electric buses, 135 trolleybuses, and 2 trams.

As previously reported, last year 552 buses, 172 trolleybuses, 51 electric buses, and 41 units of tram and metro cars were purchased.

Overall, the renewal rate of the urban public transport fleet across the republic reached 10%.
