The National Pavilion of Belarus has officially opened at the 9th China International Import Expo in Shanghai.
The event is one of the largest multi‑industry exhibitions in the world. More than 50 companies and enterprises from Belarus are participating in the Expo.
The domestic exhibition is spread across three locations: Belarusian representatives explain their country to Chinese guests in a special pavilion. They also introduce Belarusian food products in the food pavilion and showcase innovations in the “High‑Technology Equipment and Information Technologies” pavilion.
For navigation convenience, special brochures have been prepared that will help visitors immediately locate the Belarusian pavilion across the vast Shanghai Expo grounds. The total exhibition area in 2026 will exceed 440,000 square meters, so getting lost here will not be a problem.
This year, the entire Belarusian exhibition aims to showcase industrial and technological potential. The modern design of the Belarusian stands hints at this.
Just a few hours ago, the official opening ceremony of the Belarusian pavilion concluded, with the participation of First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lukashevich, representatives of Belarusian companies, Chinese organizations, and ministries.
Sergey Lukashevich, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus:
“Any participation in the exhibition is a primary introduction of new consumers to the opportunities available in the Republic of Belarus. We are here not only to sell but also to seek partners. We are regular participants in this exhibition, and that speaks for itself. Our participation in this exhibition confirms our interest in cooperation with China, especially in supplying our products—not only food but also high‑tech. Of course, the exhibition attracts many countries. Here are pavilions where not only Chinese visitors but also foreign guests can see the entire wide range of world products offered for China.”
