
The National Bank of Belarus will begin issuing a gold bullion coin “Slavianka” dated 2026 from October 20, as well as commemorative coins “Starodarozhski stroy” from the “Belarusian folk costume” series.
This was announced by the regulator’s press service on its Telegram channel.
The gold “Slavianka” has a face value of 100 rubles, weighs 15.55 g, has a diameter of 27.9 mm, and is made of alloy with a fineness of 999.9. The mintage is 1,000 pieces.
On the reverse, in the center, there is a relief portrait of a young Slavic woman holding a baby, with two heavenly birds on either side, and the inscription “SLAVIANKA” around the top. The coin is struck by OJSC Gomel PO “Kristall” — the management company of the Kristall‑Holding holding.
The commemorative “Starodarozhski stroy” coins are issued in two variants. Silver: face value 20 rubles, weight 33.63 g, fineness 925, diameter 50 mm, mintage 3,000 pieces.
Copper‑nickel: face value 1 ruble, weight 30 g, diameter 50 mm, mintage 5,000 pieces. The obverse and reverse depict elements of the Belarusian national costume. These specimens were minted by the Kazakh Mint of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RGP “Kazakhstan Mint of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan”).
All issued banknotes are legal tender in Belarus and must be accepted at face value for any payments without restriction. The National Bank will announce the date of sale availability separately.
