The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, by a decree dated 13 October 2026, fixed the maximum retail prices for certain types of vegetables for deliveries under the state order, the ministry’s press service said.

This concerns fresh long‑fruit and medium‑fruit cucumbers, as well as red tomatoes (excluding cherry tomatoes and tomatoes in clusters).

The maximum retail price per kilogram of cucumbers will be 6.1–6.4 rubles, and for tomatoes 6.9–7.24 rubles (the amount depends on delivery conditions).

The restrictions apply only during the off‑season: for cucumbers from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2027, and for tomatoes from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027.

The measure is intended to ensure stable supplies of domestic products to the domestic market at affordable prices.
