In Belarus, the list of food products eligible for partial compensation of transport and logistics costs upon export has been expanded. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turčin, as reported by BELTA from the government press service.

The document provides for expanding the list of food products eligible for partial compensation of transport and logistics costs upon export, adding wheat flour, pasta products, and chicken eggs, as well as supplementing the list of countries with the Republic of Sierra Leone. Furthermore, it sets the compensation amount for transport and logistics costs when exporting to far-abroad countries for pasta products, wheat flour, and eggs at 30%.

According to the Council of Ministers' decree No. 390 dated August 3, 2026, a pilot project is being implemented in the country to partially compensate producers for transport and logistics costs in 2027 when exporting food products in the second half of 2026 to far-abroad countries, in accordance with the lists of such products and foreign states.

The compensation will be provided subject to a number of mandatory conditions, including a positive trend in increasing the physical volumes of product exports to a foreign state by 10%.

Based on the results of the pilot project's implementation, the government will decide on the expediency of further implementing the state support mechanism for exporters.
