Today the delegation from the Gomel region led by Governor Ivan Krupko is working in the city of Chanzhou in Qizhiling province.

The first point on the agenda is the FAW company, which specializes in producing commercial vehicles. Guests were told about the history of the enterprise, the process of vehicle production, and the assembly workshops were demonstrated.

The factory is located within the Chanzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone for the automotive industry. Here they produce seven main car models, including electric ones, as well as components for them.

Among priority areas are the creation of intelligent cabins, solid-state batteries, flying cars, and other advanced technologies.

During the meeting with FAW company management, prospects for cooperation between Gomel region enterprises and the Chinese automobile corporation were discussed.

Enterprises from the southeastern region are interested in cooperation with FAW. In particular, "Gomselmash" proposes creating joint developments and design bureaus with the Chinese company. Moreover, the Gomel region is ready to discuss supplying trucks for cargo transport of its own products.

"We see growth points and prospects for cooperation with FAW Corporation. To make interaction effective and productive, it is necessary to develop a phased algorithm, including cooperation with individual enterprises," noted the chairman of the regional administration Ivan Krupko.
