Strong will, the ability to work in a multitasking mode, and developed leadership qualities are the main characteristics of a successful businessman. To effectively manage his own enterprise, one must not only always be resourceful but also know how to share that resourcefulness with employees, make well-considered decisions, and take responsibility for the result. The highest recognition for such hard work is the title of National Contest "Entrepreneur of the Year" winner. This year, 33 enterprises were recognized as laureates, among them two related to beavers. LLC "RudimStroy" was named the best in the "Stable Success" nomination, and ChTPUP "Gelodar-Lux" was noted in the "Effective Business in Services" nomination.
Those who learned how such heights were reached, and received impressions of the victory and plans for the future, did so from those who are at the helm of the city's top organizations on Berazin Street.
Not Just a Male Affair
Tackle boxes and spinning rods, federations and bait, backpacks and life jackets... In this variety, Irina Uslontseva, director of ChTPUP "Gelodar-Lux", knows more than anyone else. Over ten years of running her own business, she certainly knows what is needed for fish to bite and for angling to bring joy.
It all started with a trembling family tradition:
— The idea to open a shop came to me during my maternity leave. Close people tried to dissuade me and convince me that business is a man's affair, and fishing is not for women. Nevertheless, I still decided to try, — emphasized Irina A.N. — We love going out to water together as a family, catching fish, meeting sunrises and watching sunsets. I like this business, and when I opened my enterprise, I set myself a goal — to win people over to fishing, to show that it is interesting and not boring.
In 2016, ChTPUP "Gelodar-Lux" was created, and today, thanks to the efforts of Irina and her friendly team, beaver-related businesses can visit the city with eight retail stores of the chain. Here you can buy various feed and lures, tackle, federations, spinning rods, pet supplies. And young anglers who take their first steps in this exciting business receive favorable discounts. Thus the store charges up with good catches and excellent moods.
— There are wonderful girls working in the collective. They are very attentive and competent, able to handle any fisherman, whether a professional or an amateur. It is very pleasant when families come to us, when grandfathers bring their grandchildren, because fishing, above all, is about continuity, traditions, and family values.
Irina Uslonsteva's victory in the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' contest once again proves: our Belarusian beauties are successful in everything, and even the fishing business is within their reach.
— This was our first time participating in the contest, and it was very nerve‑wracking. Our victory is a sign of the quality of our service, and we must keep the bar high. I'm very glad that we, as a team, are looking in the same direction, working in harmony and understanding each other with half a word. I wish women who want to go into business to boldly move forward. If you have fire in your eyes and interesting ideas, you must definitely bring them to life.
In Irina Anatolyevna's opinion, business is a good opportunity not only to fulfill one's dream but also
Entrepreneurs note: working on one of the most important objects for Bobruisk residents — Lake Shamanke — we wanted to make this place as atmospheric and cozy as possible, so that it would be safe to walk and relax with children. About what work was done on the object, and what the victory in the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' contest means for the enterprise, told the director of LLC 'RudimStroy' Dmitry Gorelik:
— As part of the improvement of the area around Lake Shamanke, about five thousand square meters of paving tiles were laid, one hundred meters of fence installed, twenty benches and trash cans. The work was done with our own forces using locally produced materials. It has become very beautiful here, and in the evening there is not a single free bench — now even more Bobruisk residents walk by the lake, — emphasized Dmitry. — For us this is the second victory in the 'Entrepreneur of the Year' contest. Last year we were first in the nomination 'Effective Business in the Production Sector', and now — in the nomination 'Stable Success'. Victory speaks for itself, and we simply must move forward! The bar is rising, and with it — responsibility. We are very glad that we were assessed by d
