The working trip of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko is taking place in the Lohoysk district of Minsk region: The head of state is visiting the enterprise LLC 'AMKODOR-LESMASH'. This is reported by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

During the visit, Alexander Lukashenko will be presented with information on how the production of forestry equipment is organized to fully meet the country's domestic needs, and will also be briefed on the current development of the 'AMKODOR' holding and the situation in the forestry sector.

The President will study the production process and inspect samples of the manufactured equipment. In addition, he will be shown how the domestic machinery complex operates – in particular, a harvester and a forwarder.

Currently, AMKODOR equipment covers the main part of the needs of the forestry industrial complex, thereby strengthening the industry's technological self-sufficiency. The product line is supplemented by

Also, AMKODOR has set up production of compact equipment for tending young plantations (thinning and clearing), which previously had to be purchased abroad.

AMKODOR's current production capacity allows it to manufacture 140–150 units of forestry equipment per year, of which 120 units are AMKODOR‑LESMASH products. In the future, the company intends to enhance its own competencies, expand the product range, and fully utilize its production capacities – thus the output volume is planned to be increased to 250 machines per year.
