Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Union of Trade Unions, Igor Stankevich, took part in a ceremonial event dedicated to the retirement of OJSC “MozeLit” director Viktor Ermalenko—a person who devoted 52 years of his life to his native enterprise, 37 of which were spent at the helm of the factory.

The city leadership, social partners, labor veterans, and colleagues gathered to congratulate the legendary manager and express sincere gratitude. For hundreds of people, Viktor Broniislavovich was not just a director, but a wise mentor, the soul, and the chief protector of a large team.

Addressing Viktor Ermalenko, Igor Stankevich emphasized that for the Mogilev trade union movement, the departure of such a leader is not merely a personnel change but the conclusion of an entire era of social partnership.

— 52 years at a single enterprise and 37 years in the position of director—these numbers represent not just a work tenure but an entire life devoted to people and the cause. Viktor Broniislavovich always understood that the main value of any production is the person. That is why “MozeLit” has remained for decades not just an enterprise but a real home for hundreds of workers, where the conditions of labor, social guarantees, health, and well-being of each were cared for. Thank you, Viktor Broniislavovich, for your colossal work, for your loyalty to the team, and for always being close to the people, — said Igor Stankevich.

The chairman of the union presented Viktor Ermalenko with thanks for many years of fruitful cooperation with the trade union movement, a substantial personal contribution to the protection of the socio‑economic rights and interests of workers, and the development of social partnership in the Mogilev region.

Under Viktor Ermalenko’s leadership, OJSC “MozeLit” became a true brand known far beyond Belarus. For his work he rightfully received the title “Honorary Citizen of the city of Mogilev” and numerous state awards. But perhaps the most valuable award is the respect and love of the team he led for almost four decades.
