Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin held a meeting on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in economic sectors and public administration, BelTA reported citing the government press service.

The measure to create the state digital platform “Artificial Intelligence” under the state program “Digital Belarus” for 2026–2030 is aimed at addressing this task. Today’s meeting examined various aspects of implementing this measure.

“There is a lot of talk in the world about artificial intelligence. Today we will try, so to speak, as a first approximation, to look at the practical benefits of introducing artificial intelligence into some areas of our data arrays. And, frankly, I invited such a wide circle of our ministers because it is precisely in these ministries that there is room to apply artificial intelligence. I think that during our discussion we will discuss in more detail further paths and mechanisms for implementing projects,” said Alexander Turchin.
