The State Control Committee of the Gomel Region has identified instances of one of the region's enterprises illegally receiving 1.6 million rubles from the budget allocated for the creation of specialized industrial equipment. The project implementation work lasted for almost 2 years, but during this time, the enterprise was unable to create equipment that corresponded to the technical specifications and design documentation. Moreover, the enterprise submitted for reimbursement from the budget the amounts of salaries of scientific personnel who did not actually participate in the development of the equipment. At the proposal of the State Control Committee, the Ministry of Industry made a decision to return the funds spent by the enterprise on the manufacture of equipment to the budget. Currently, more than 400 thousand rubles have been returned. The reimbursement of the remaining amount remains under control.
