During an inspection of a retail establishment in the Kalinkovichsky District, almost 40 kg of chilled poultry semi‑finished products with expired shelf lives and more than 40 units of bakery items of unknown origin were found – they lacked quality and safety documentation.
Tomatoes with a loss of commercial appearance (showing signs of rotting and shriveling) were also sold in the store. The storage conditions for the meat semi‑finished products were violated – the temperature was minus 11 °C instead of the required range of 0 to +20 °C. Some items lacked price tags and labeling with the necessary information for consumers about the production date, shelf life, and storage conditions.
The substandard products were removed from sale. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against those responsible.
The store’s operations have been suspended until the violations are rectified.
