The first transit voyage with Belarusian cargo has traveled along the Northern Sea Route to China, BELTA reports, citing the Telegram channel of state corporation Rosatom.

"A bulk carrier with 77,000 tonnes of cargo on board is en route from the Russian port of Ust-Luga to the port of Bayuquan in northeastern China," the statement says.

The vessel is expected to arrive at the port of destination on October 13.
