On October 18, 2026, at 12:13, the news.by editorial office reported that in China, the first pavilion of Belarusian goods has been officially opened. It features over 200 products under the "Made in Belarus" brand. The pavilion is located in the city of Heihe, Heilongjiang Province.

The official opening ceremony was attended by Alexander Chervyakov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to China, as well as representatives of local authorities.

The project is not only an important symbolic step on the eve of the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations but also a new approach to the logistics of supplying Belarusian goods to China.

Alexander Chervyakov, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to China, stated: "This is our consistent systematic work on creating infrastructure for promoting exports. Heihe is one of the priority checkpoints for Belarusian products in northeastern China. The necessary infrastructure is being created here, including warm and cold warehouses for various types of products. We plan that part of the Belarusian commodity flow will be directed through this checkpoint, which will be distributed primarily in the northeastern provinces of China."

An online sales zone is already operational, with dry milk and confectionery products of Belarusian production being sent to Chinese consumers. Currently, the issue of creating a network of similar pavilions is being worked out, and regional authorities are determining an operator that will be able to manage and facilitate product supplies.

Zhong Huan Yue, director of the center for foreign trade and cooperation of the Heihe Free Trade Zone: "The opening of the first pavilion of Belarusian products in the Heihe Free Trade Zone is an important tool for us to deepen interregional cooperation with Belarus. We intend to turn the pavilion into an important platform for connecting Belarusian goods with the large Chinese market, as well as form a reproducible and replicable model of an operational model, continuously deepening interregional trade and economic ties and friendly contacts between the peoples of the two countries."

Heihe is an important node connecting China's "One Belt, One Road" initiative and the Eurasian Economic Union. The location is unique - on the other bank of the Amur River is the Russian city of Blagoveshchensk. The cities are often called "twins", and the geographical proximity is used as an opportunity to strengthen logistical ties.
