Final chord of the 2026 harvest: harvest participants honored in Cherikov

Olesya Glukhova September 2, 2026 16:09 The harvest campaign in the Cherikov district has been completed, and farmers are preparing to begin the large-scale winter sowing of grain crops. Meanwhile, as combines are put into storage and seed drills are being readied for sowing, the grain growers of OAO "Cherikov Agro" were receiving congratulations and gifts to mark the end of the harvest. A ceremonial event for them was organized at the machine yard of the agricultural enterprise.

"Bread is the staff of life, and there's no arguing with that. But the most important thing is that we started the harvest campaign together as one team, and today we are gathering as the same team. On behalf of myself and the district executive committee, I want to say words of gratitude to you for your hard work," said Oleg Begunec, First Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee and Head of the Agriculture and Food Department, addressing the farmers. "And I would like us to harvest an even bigger crop next year. New successes to you, high yields, and good health! Thank you very much and a deep bow to you for your work."

Oleg Pavlovich presented gift certificates from the Belarusian Trade Union of Agricultural and Industrial Complex Workers, awarded to combine operator's assistant Vladislav Zubarev and driver Vasily Danilkin.

Oleg Begunec also presented Letters of Gratitude from the Cherikov District Executive Committee to all harvest participants: combine operators Artyom Tyapin, Sergey Efremov, Dmitry and Vladislav Zubarev, Alexander Shuplyakov, Sergey Lukyanenko, Andrey Alekseenko, Igor Kolosov, Maksim Anishchenko, Vladimir Pushilin, and drivers Igor Baranov, Alexander Chepikov, and Vasily Danilkin. Additionally, Alexander Chepikov, Alexander Shuplyakov, and Dmitry Zubarev were awarded gifts from the Cherikov District Organization of the ROO "Belaya Rus."

The award ceremony was continued by Oksana Dyatlova, Chairwoman of the District Committee of the Agricultural and Industrial Complex Workers' Trade Union. She thanked the farmers for their work and presented gifts from the trade union.

How quickly and well we sow will determine next year's harvest, — emphasized the head of the agricultural enterprise, Sergei Shilin. — I wish you strong health, patience, good luck, and new successes in your labor!

The director of OJSC "Cherikov Agro" presented gifts from the agricultural enterprise to the combine operators and drivers in gratitude for their dedicated work. To honor the tireless hands of the grain growers, musical compositions were performed as a gift to the workers of the rural fields.
