On the eve of Pharmaceutical Industry Day, we decided to visit the Khotimsk Central District Pharmacy No. 28 of the first category and talk to the pharmacy manager, Galina Khudoba.
– Let’s start with the main question – how many people work today in the central pharmacy?– At present, the staff of pharmacy No. 28 includes 9 employees. Six of them are pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, that is, specialists with higher and secondary pharmaceutical education. Such a composition allows us to ensure the pharmacy’s uninterrupted operation, serve visitors and perform all necessary functions. We strive to maintain a wide assortment of goods, aim for high-quality service, and constantly work on improving our professional knowledge.
– In any profession there are people on whom the team relies. Name those who have been working with you for many years and enjoy special respect?
– The core of the team consists of experienced professionals in their field, with decades of work behind them. This is Tatyana Starostenko, who has worked in our pharmacy for more than 30 years, Natalya Yeroshenko and Larisa Aleynikova, each with over 15 years of service.
– Relationships within the team can be described as work‑related and friendly. We have no conflicts; all disputed issues are resolved calmly, in a work‑like manner. Employees help each other: if someone faces a difficult situation—whether work‑related or personal—colleagues try to support them. Because for us it is important not only to ensure the availability of medicinal products, but also to create a clear, coordinated work of the whole team.
– We treat young specialists with attention. When a new employee arrives, they are assigned a mentor from among the experienced pharmacists or pharmacy technicians. The mentor helps them master the specifics of the job, understand the documentation, advises on how to communicate properly with visitors in various situations, to listen and to assist. Young specialists are never left without attention. We understand that they need time to adapt, and we strive to make this period as comfortable as possible. Moreover, young employees bring new ideas, which is also beneficial for the team.
– It's pleasant that the result of our work is appreciated by the enterprise's management. According to the results of the Mogilev RUP "Pharmacy" competition "Best Pharmacy of the Year" and based on the work over five years, Khotimsk Central District Pharmacy No. 28 took a prize place five times in the nomination "Best Central District Pharmacy among CDPs with a district population of up to 15,000 people."
– With deep respect and gratitude, we remember the veterans of the pharmacy service. These are T.M. Zenkova, L.V. Kokotova, T.I. Kovalenko, N.I. Kovalenko, A.M. Shaikova, V.V. Punchenko, N.N. Zaytseva, T.M. Sukhadolova, S.V. Kovzikova, R.E. Zhuravleva – specialists who devoted many years to the pharmacy and made a great contribution to the development of pharmacy work.
Belarusian women are special, combining inner warmth, beauty, and diligence. They are incredibly strong in spirit and infinitely devoted to their family, their people, and their native Belarus.
– I wish all our employees and our pensioners good health, prosperity, and peaceful skies. Thank you for your tremendous contribution to the common cause. May the knowledge and experience you generously shared return to you as respect and warmth.
